The following aspects should be paid attention to when choosing MDF:
1. Look at whether the thickness and density are uniform, whether the corners are damaged, whether there are delamination, bulging, carbonization and other phenomena, and whether there are soft parts.
2. When conditions permit, you can saw a small piece of MDF and soak it in water with a water temperature of 20 °C for 24 hours to observe the change of its thickness, and at the same time observe whether there is a small bulge on the board surface. The thickness changes greatly, and there is a small bulge on the board surface, indicating that the board surface has poor waterproofness.
3. Choose the MDF with low release, smell with the sense of smell when choosing, and choose the MDF with a small irritating taste, because the greater the smell, the higher the formaldehyde release, and the greater the pollution caused.
