What is Melamine Faced Medium Density Fibreboard?
Melamine faced MDF uses plain medium density fibreboard as base substrate, hot-pressed with impregnated melamine decorative paper on one side or both sides. The finished surface is wear-resistant, stain-resistant and ready for direct assembly without further painting or finishing. It is one of the most popular engineered wood panels for modern flat-pack furniture and cabinet production.For commercial interior projects that must satisfy strict fire safety building codes, we also supply fire retardant MDF with red core and certified fire performance.
