Especially after the state enforces the limit of harmful substances in decoration and decoration, the adhesive used for the large core board must be improved, and the cost of this alone has increased a lot, and the price of raw materials is still rising. Therefore, due to cost constraints, blockboards that sell for less than 80 yuan on the market must not be purchased. The blind pursuit of cheapness will bring harm to human health. In order to make profits, many businesses use various methods to deceive consumers, so when purchasing, you should pay attention to the following points:
(1) The quality grade of blockboard is divided into excellent products, first-class products and qualified products. Before the blockboard leaves the factory, it should be stamped with a non-fading ink mark in the lower right corner of the back of each board, indicating the category, grade, manufacturer code and inspector code of the product; Category markings shall indicate the words indoor and outdoor. If this information is not available or unclear, consumers should pay attention.
(2) Appearance observation, select plates with smooth surface, knots and less peeling; Observe whether the board surface is warped, bent, bulging, dented, etc.; Observe whether there is glue and putty around the plate. Check whether the core strips are arranged evenly and neatly, and the smaller the gap, the better. The width of the core should not exceed 2.5 times the thickness, otherwise it is easy to deform.
(3) Touch with your hands, unfold your palms, and gently smooth the surface of the wood core board, if you feel that there are burrs pricking your hands, it indicates that the quality is not high.
(4) Lift one side of the blockboard with both hands, shake it up and down, and listen to the sound of wood stretching and breaking, which means that the internal gaps are large and there are many cavities. High-quality blockboards should have a sense of wholeness and heaviness.
(5) After sawing from the side, observe whether the wood quality of the core is uniform and neat, whether there is decay, fracture, wormhole, etc., and whether the gap between the solid wood strips is large.
(6) Close your nose to the section of the blockboard and smell it for a strong pungent odor. If the blockboard emits a fragrant wood odor, it means that the formaldehyde release is less; If the smell is pungent, it means that the formaldehyde emission is more, so don't buy it.
(7) After purchasing, pay attention to check whether the loaded blockboard is consistent with the samples seen at the time of sale, so as to prevent illegal merchants from "stealing beams and changing columns".
(8) It is necessary to prevent individual merchants from deliberately confusing the boundaries between E1 and E2 in order to sell fake and shoddy products. Blockboard is divided into two categories: E 1 and E2 according to its harmful substance limit, and its harmful substances are mainly formaldehyde. Home decoration can only use E1 blockboard, E2 blockboard, even if it is a qualified product, its formaldehyde content may exceed E1 large core board more than three times.
(9) Ask the merchant for the blockboard test report and quality inspection certificate and other documents. The formaldehyde content of blockboard should not be more than 1.5mg/L before it can be directly used indoors, and the formaldehyde content of blockboard is not more than 5mg/L must be treated with a finish before it is allowed to be used indoors. Therefore, when purchasing, be sure to ask whether it meets the national standards for interior decoration materials, and indicate it on the invoice.
