The cross-section of the MDF is uniform in color and evenly distributed in particles. The surface is flat and the processing is simple.
3. The characteristics are different
Particleboard has poor bending resistance and compression resistance, loose density, and easy loosening The amount of formaldehyde is higher than that of MDF. Its advantage is that the interior is a cross-staggered structure, with good nail holding force and strong transverse bearing capacity.
MDF has a compact structure, good shaping ability, is not easy to be deformed by moisture, and has low formaldehyde content, but the overall lack of texture is poor, so the nail holding force is poor, and if the screw is tightened twice in the same place, the fastening force will be lost.
4. The scope of application is different
Particleboard is mostly used in panel furniture. Generally, the substrate of PVC adsorption door panel is made of MDF. In more detail, MDF will be used in storerooms, shoe cabinets, door covers, window covers, baseboards, etc.
5. The price is different
Particleboard prices range from 60 to 160 yuan per sheet, making it relatively cheap. The price of MDF ranges from 80 yuan to 200 yuan.
