What is Plain Raw Medium Density Fibreboard?
Plain raw MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) is an unfinished engineered wood panel manufactured from refined hardwood & softwood wood fibres, bonded with resin under high temperature and pressure. It has no surface lamination, presenting a consistent, knot-free flat substrate ideal for painting, veneer gluing, UV coating and further surface finishing. Unlike solid timber, raw MDF features homogeneous density, stable dimension and low warping risk, making it the most versatile base panel for woodworking manufacturers.
